Merry Xmas Greeting Card

Xmas Tree Ball 2010

I like to design seasonal greeting cards for my clients, friends and family, above is a xmas card artwork, I created to to send to those special people. The Xmas card illustrations was inspired by a Christmas tree ball ball. The shape is recognisable, and as it is a sphere, a simple shape. I like to create delicate illustrations which I combine together with other elements which I have created, to make up larger shapes and elements.

I combined familiar Xmas images such as Xmas Holly, Bells, Angels, Presents, ribbons, and xmas characters to create a Xmas tree ball ball. The elements are complemented with a simple typographic scripted style Merry Christmas message that completes the xmas greeting card illustration.

I had the greeting cards printed which I sent out to clients who had commissioned me for illustration work in the past. its important to keep commercial relationships familiar and continuing, as the potentially follow up projects may present it self to you in the future.
