Moleskine Sketch Book Drawings
Here is a selection of Moleskine sketchbook drawings I have drawn over the past few months, these sketches are inspired by my daily life, from the things I see around me and the, my work is influenced by nature, flowers and patterns, I have picked up my pens and draw increasingly inside my Moleskine sketchbooks. I enjoy picking up my pens and drawing ideas and sketches, some of my sketches I develop further, those of which are interesting and worthy conceptually, or sometimes, the sketches are kept as sketches as they are thoughts and ideas, of which I may decide to return back to at a later date and time.
I have selected these particular drawings as they are all different from one another. They are all very much experiments and Ideas, which is great to get the ideas down on paper, where you can see if they work or not. I like to draw maps, and it’s now becoming an obsession of mine, esp drawing and sketching places and locations which I have visited during a day out in London. I like the idea of visually drawing a place, in a digital age, I value going back to a more analogue level, where I enjoy taking the time to invest in a drawing and remembering a place, location and experience by drawing a sketch about it inside my Moleskine sketchbook rather then taking a digital photographic, which I feel now holds much less value intrinsically to me, as photography becomes much more ubiquitous considering we now use our mobile photos to capture anything and everything around us now
