Merry Xmas Greeting Card

I like to design seasonal greeting cards for my clients, friends and family, above is a Xmas card artwork, I created to send to those special people. The Xmas card illustrations were inspired by a Christmas tree bauble. The shape is recognizable, and as it is a sphere, a simple shape. I like to create delicate illustrations which I combine together with other elements which I have created, to make up larger shapes and elements.

I combined familiar Xmas images such as Xmas Holly, Bells, Angels, Presents, ribbons, and Xmas characters to create a Xmas tree bauble. The elements are complemented with a simple typographic scripted style Merry Christmas message that completes the Xmas greeting card illustration.

I had the greeting cards printed which I sent out to clients who had commissioned me for illustration work in the past. it’s important to keep commercial relationships familiar and continuing, as the potential follow up projects may present itself to you in the future.
