Hand Drawn Inky Love Moleskine Sketch

A quick sketch I drew up of the typographic word Love Moleskine Sketch, not sure what inspired it, I’ve been watching a lot of Luther, a police TV drama, or it might have been the very hot weather we have been having, I think it’s down to my good mood.

I find drawing in my sketchbook an easy and quick process, it inspires ideas and personal projects. interesting shapes and forms are created, which I have used in my commercial work. Drawing is definitely an interesting process, I have developed ideas and a database of new work from the sketching I have been doing, as well as keeping my mind active and creating, while not working on a commercial project, The above love sketch happened to take less than an hour to ink up.

The love word has a lot of positive associations with well-recognized elements that we all have gotten to know. The typographic word loves very much a visual type experiment and playful sketch, I might use it in a piece of work, or convert it to a digital artwork incorporating more of my stylised work within it.
