London Moleskine Entertainment Map Journal
I am a fan of maps, I like the intricate details of maps and the information which is thoughtfully created to help read maps easily. I have hand-drawn map sketches inside my Moleskine sketchbook inspired by days out in London. My experience includes art and design exhibitions, places to eat and drink, places to shop, well known London landmarks and general places of interest.
I draw all the illustrations by hand, all of which are architecturally inspired. I draw as much detail as I can. this is achieved by using fine line Rotring pens, and the finest I draw with is a .18, which creates an intricate fine line, with which I am able to draw fine detailing.
The map illustrations have a simple key design, which is the bold arrows, which indicate and direct you from the first location on the map which you can visit and gives directions to the next interesting location on the map,
Each day out map guide has a brief written description in hand-drawn the stylised type of the name and location of the places of interest. It should be used an ideas guide to plan a day out, which takes in much of London’s well-known arts, entertainment, and culture, as well as places of interest and quality places to eat and drink, all packaged up in a unique personalized hand-drawn style map style
