Hipster Hackney Street Map

Typographic Area Guide, Hipster Hackey Street Map inspired by famous sites of Hackney including Hoxton, Shoreditch, Columbia Road, Brick-lane.

I like maps, and I like to explore around Shoreditch, it was an easy enough decision to bring the 2 things I like and enjoy together to create an illustration. It might not be as accurate as your google maps on your phone, but I like to think its a little more interesting and nice to look at.

My Studio is based in Shoreditch, and I spend some time working and going out in Hackney. I have had internet in cartography ever since I was at university, and my final dissertation form what I remember was written about maps.

Hackney being quite a hipster place now, and the changes I have noticed around me, including sights and sounds, places to go out, from eating and drinking to music events, its all become very trendy, this is a little something to try and capture a small piece of that pie.
