Illustrated Floral vector greeting card range
I have been busy working on a greeting card collection to sell through an online shop. the work is inspired by nature and flowers in particular which is very central to my illustration work. The floral greeting card illustrations are very loose in the look and feel, I felt this was necessary as I wanted the cards to be able to be used for any occasion.
The floral illustrations were inspired by a visit to Kew Gardens, one of my favourite places to visit in London. I photographed a range of flowers on my Canon 6D for reference material. Once I was back in my studio, Shoreditch, I edited down my reference photos to a select few. Using Photoshop and my Wacom tablet, I drew over the flowers and created an overall shape and line work. I imported the line artwork floral images into photoshop and defined the line further adjusting the vector lines using the pen tool and bezier anchor points to create a range of Vector Floral Inspired Greeting Card Designs.
The cards are printed on to 188 gsm Paper, which has a soft off white sheen, with a matt paint finish.
