Valentines Day Love Heart
Valentine’s day, yes we all know about this special occasion, at least I hope we all do. I have many Valentine day and a range of other seasonal work. I created this simple digital print, so anyone may be able to download the work, and give it lovingly to a loved one.
I am inspired by nature. and butterflies feature a lot in my work. These particular butterflies, I traced with my Wacom tablet. The butterflies are detailed with many wing panels, some of the panels are small in detail.
Once I created 5 different winged looking butterflies, of shape and size, I thought about placing them together to create a love heart. A simple and effective shape, my icon illustration work takes on this particular method, of many delicate icons, and combining them to create a larger piece of work, and in this particular instance a love heart.
