License To Inspire

My illustration agents C.I.A. those clever lovely people have written a book about the great artists who they represent, I am very happy to be apart of this book, buy it now while you can, License To Inspire! License To Inspire is an eclectic mix of stunning artwork and fascinating interviews from the world’s most talented illustrators and industry innovators. An invaluable resource for art buyers and other professionals within the creative industries, this will soon become a recommended text for art students and particularly those who wish to work in the industry. With inclusions from a diverse range of artists from Jonas Bergstrand to Sir Peter Blake, the book is packed with beautiful images and thought-provoking words.

Created by the acclaimed Central Illustration Agency, who have been associated with the brightest talent in illustrative art since 1983, this book will be an essential addition to any coffee table or agency library. “Illustration has been arguably the liveliest art form of this decade, and CIA have been right in the centre of it. This Book paints a brilliant and lively portrait of the world, the art and the business of contemporary illustration.” Marc Valli, Elephant magazine & Magma. Get yours here!

Central illustration Agency Calendar

Lolly Illustration

Lolly Illustration

Something to lick your lips on, a illustration for the my agency Central Illustration who represent my work, each year the agency ask the illustration artists to create artworks for the CIA calendar. This year we were given a sentence ‘If I were’ the sentence would form the bases of the illustration. The brief was very open to us, we were asked to use the sentence and interpret it in any way we wished.

I chose to illustrate a lollypop, which I wish I were. I chose to create something which was quirky and a little different from the fine intricate illustration work I create. I illustrated a selection of classic candy which you can find in any good sweet shop, and illustrated the sweets using Adobe illustrator. I combined the sweet icons and with little dots to create the lollypop candy stick.
